Introduction
The Grasses installation was part of Gallery 1313 Parkettes exhibtion that took place in various parks in Toronto. Grasses was installed at the corner of Bloor and Spadina over a weekend in June 2005. Passers-by were invited to lie down in the grass, if they could spare a moment. It was a nice opportunity to add more green space to the gritty city streets. It was a study in human behavior to see if people would participate.
